Collaborative Welding Robot

The 6 axis industrial robot arm is a special robot made for industrial welding automation. It works with CO2 gas shielded welding, TIG welding, spot welding, and continuous seam welding. It is widely used for high-volume welding of hardware frames, steel structures, auto parts brackets, construction machinery, and sheet metal boxes.

Welding is one of the hardest and most dangerous jobs in manufacturing. Welders face high heat, bright light, smoke, and arc radiation. Long-term work damages their health. Also, manual weld quality is not stable. The same part, welded by the same person, may be different in the morning and afternoon. When tired, the weld width and depth vary.

The 6 axis industrial robot arm solves these problems completely. It works 24 hours a day without stopping. There is no worker fatigue or performance change. Weld paths are precise, speed is even, and shaking is minimal. Weld beads are full, even, and consistent. This greatly improves the weld yield rate. One construction machinery customer told us that after using this robot, their weld yield rate went from 85% to over 97%. One robot replaced three welders. The robot uses a six-joint structure with a dedicated welding process package. The operator records the weld path using a hand-held teach pendant. The system generates the welding program automatically. During running, the robot follows the preset path to complete arc starting, weaving, travel, arc closing, and arc extinguishing.

The control uses a dedicated welding system. It supports MIG, TIG, spot, intermittent, and continuous welding. The system can match welding speed, weave width, and voltage/current parameters to part thickness, weld size, and material. It has weld start/stop buffering, even weaving, fill welding, and delayed arc extinguishing. Arc starting is stable and arc closing is full. This avoids burn-through, cold laps, porosity, and weld bumps. Even heat input also reduces part heat distortion.

This robot is made for high-intensity factory welding. It resists heat, smoke, and interference. The joints and cables have sealed protection. It works reliably in harsh welding environments for a long time. The working temperature range is -10°C to 45°C. Safety features include collision detection, overload protection, emergency stop, and welding fault alarms. If there is a problem during welding, it stops automatically to protect the equipment and people.
