Dual-Rail RGV

The Dual-Rail RGV Cart is a heavy-duty, high-precision track-based automatic transfer device for automation lines, CNC clusters, smart warehouses, and multi-station lines. It uses a dual-rail parallel support structure. Compared to single-rail RGV, it has higher load capacity, better stability, and stronger docking accuracy.

This cart is used for heavy parts, frame fixtures, whole pallets, and machine group transfer across stations. It works with gantry robots, six-joint arms, magazines, and conveyor lines for fully unmanned transfer. It is widely used in high-volume, heavy-load, and high-precision automation.

Moving heavy material is one of the hardest problems on automated lines. Parts or frames weighing hundreds of kilograms cannot be pushed by hand. Forklifts are not flexible enough. Single-rail RGV may not have enough load capacity or running stability.

The Dual-Rail RGV Cart solves these problems with a dual-rail symmetrical support structure. The cart body has even load distribution and high rigidity. Heavy-load running has no shaking, side sway, or deviation. The dual-rail balanced load design greatly increases the load limit. It can carry heavy metal parts, large fixture plates, and whole stacks of frames. One heavy industry customer told us that after using this cart, they fully automated the transfer of heavy parts that used to need forklifts. They saved two forklift drivers and increased transfer efficiency by over 50%.

The cart travels on dual rails with synchronous travel. It uses a servo drive and encoder closed-loop positioning. Stop error is very small. It picks up heavy material from the pick position. It travels along the track to the target station and stops precisely. After material handover, it returns automatically.

The control uses an industrial PLC system. It supports multi-station fixed-point stops, automatic calling, automatic return, cycle transfer, empty standby, and station avoidance. It supports high-speed empty travel and low-speed positioning modes. Empty travel is fast for efficiency. Positioning is slow and precise for accuracy. The cart body uses thick steel. The rails are rigid and wear-resistant. The electrical system resists dust, chips, and interference.

The dual-rail parallel structure ensures even load distribution. This stops one-sided tilting and travel deviation. The rails are rigid and wear-resistant. Long-term, high-load running has no loosening. The working temperature range is -10°C to 45°C. Safety features include front and rear infrared collision detection, mechanical hard limits, electrical limits, overload protection, emergency stop, sound and light alarms, and anti-slip protection.
