QR Code-Guided AGV

The QR Code-Guided AGV Cart is a low-cost, high-accuracy, easy-to-deploy, and easy-to-modify flexible transport device. It reads QR code labels on the floor for positioning, path recognition, and station reading. It does not need magnetic tape, laser reflectors, or track constraints.

This cart uses QR code point recognition to complete automatic travel, precise stopping, station docking, and cycle transfer. It is widely used in electronics lines, assembly workshops, warehouse sorting, material delivery, and machine loading. It is the mainstream device for flexible automation logistics upgrades in small and medium factories.

Traditional track RGV and magnetic tape AGV have a big problem: fixed paths. Once tracks are laid or tape is stuck, changing them is hard. For factories that adjust lines often, this is a big limit.

The QR Code-Guided AGV Cart solves this with floor QR codes. Need a new station? Stick a QR code. Need to change a route? Rearrange the QR codes. The whole change takes only a few minutes. No hardware changes are needed. The floor is clean with no tracks or tape. People and forklifts can move freely. One electronics assembly customer told us that after using this AGV, their line adjustment flexibility improved greatly. Before, each line layout change took days to re-lay tracks. Now, they just update the map on the computer and stick a few new QR codes. It is done in half a day.

The cart reads QR code labels on the floor through a downward-facing camera. Each QR code is a precise coordinate station. The cart knows its position and plans the next path based on the QR code information.

The control uses a dedicated AGV system. It supports automatic code reading, fixed-point stopping, task queuing, automatic return, empty standby, and automatic error correction. Travel speed and stop accuracy can be adjusted freely. The cart body is lightweight. Load capacity is moderate and suits small to medium material transfer. Safety features include infrared obstacle detection, mechanical bumpers, sound and light warnings, emergency stop, code-loss alarm, and overload protection.

No trenching, no rails, no laser reflectors. Just stick QR codes on the floor to complete the whole deployment. Construction time is short and modification cost is very low. The working temperature range is -10°C to 45°C. It supports multiple AGVs on the same route and multiple branch routes. The system automatically controls intersections, keeps distances, and splits tasks.
