Loop-Track RGV

The Loop-Track RGV Cart is a smart track-based transfer device for multi-station circulation, dense stations, and continuous production. Unlike straight single-rail and dual-rail RGV that only go back and forth, this cart uses a closed-loop track layout. It supports multiple carts circulating, one-way continuous flow, and sequential stops at multiple stations.

This cart is used in CNC cluster circulation loading and unloading, precision assembly loops, spraying lines, drying transfer, and warehouse circular sorting. It supports multiple RGV carts scheduled together and station handover. It achieves non-stop circulation production on the whole line.

Straight RGV has a natural flaw – it runs back and forth. After moving material from point A to point B, it must return empty to point A for the next trip. This empty return is waste and lost capacity.

The Loop-Track RGV Cart solves this with a closed-loop track design. Carts travel in one direction on the circular track. They never need to return empty. Every station is placed around the loop. The cart stops at each station, delivers material, and moves on. All stations on the loop get uninterrupted material supply. One assembly line customer told us that after using this loop cart, their overall line speed improved by over 20%. The time wasted on empty returns became effective transfer time. The loop can also run multiple carts at the same time, which doubles capacity.

The loop track uses a closed structure with arcs and straight sections. Multiple RGV carts travel in one direction on the loop. The system intelligently separates carts, keeps safe distances, and staggers stops. Each cart follows preset logic to stop at assigned stations, complete material handover, and move on.

The control uses a dedicated loop dispatch system. It supports multiple carts keeping safe distance automatically, station priority avoidance, and fault isolation. A single point fault does not stop the whole line. Fault tolerance is high and continuity is strong. The cart body uses thick steel plates. The track is precision-bent and formed in one piece. Arc transitions are smooth. Carts turn without jamming, side sway, or dropped material.

The loop track can have dozens of stop points along the line. It can surround machine groups, assembly stations, inspection stations, drying, cooling, and the whole process. One loop RGV system can handle multiple process transfers on the whole line. The working temperature range is -10°C to 45°C. Safety features include infrared collision detection, zone speed control, arc speed reduction, station interlocks, emergency limits, sound and light alarms, overload protection, and multi-cart collision prevention logic.
